Its both wet and crispy, and coleslaw is something very tasty for me. But when it starts swimming in mayonnaise I lose my interest. I lightened the classic American way, and now its just for me.
ingredients
- 1/3 cup yogurt
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tsp grainy mustard
- 4 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cabbage (about 6 cups), shred
- 2 medium carrot (about 3 cups), thick grate
- 1 bundle of scallion, thin slice (optional)
preparation
- Blend yogurt, mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, olive oil and salt in a bowl.
- Combine cabbage, carrot and scallion in a big bowl. Pour on the yogurt sauce. Fold well by hand. Cover. Refrigerate at least for 30 min before service.
- 1 çbk = 1 çorba kaşığı = 1 table spoon = 15 ml
- 1 tsp = 1 tatlı kaşığı = 1 tea spoon = 5 ml
- 1 cup ~ 1 su bardağı = 1 cup = 240 ml
