If you do not have any tomato sauce at home, you can cook your spaghetti by using enough tomatoes depending on the servings you have in mind by using my tomato sauce recipe. Since you will be using it fresh you do not even have to thicken it.
ingredients
- 500 grams spaghetti
- 4 portions tomato sauce
preparation
- Cook the pasta 1-2 min less than the advised time on the package, drain reserving 1 cup of cooking liquid. Drizzle olive oil on the pasta while it's in the colander and shake to mix.
- Heat the tomato sauce. Add the spaghetti, stir well. Adjust the thickness of the sauce using the reserved liquid.
