This is a rice pilaf recipe, where you can easily make variations matching your main course needs, and you do not have to worry about not cooking the rice properly.
ingredients
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 cups boiling water
preparation
- Add rice, salt and olive oil to the pan, stir well over medium heat.
- Pour hot water in, cover, cook for 7-8 min.
- Remove from heat, let it rest covered for 10 min. Fluff with a fork to serve.
